Dhoni's 60 lakh Bike, did he not earn it?

Dhoni's has always been a bike lover, and is there anything wrong in it? He owns 14 bikes(and surprisingly the whole world knows about it, thanks to media), again, what's wrong in it? And to add to the exquisite collection, comes in a monster. A masterpiece which has only 150 copies worldwide, and owned by the likes of Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise and David Beckham. The Confederate X132 Hellcat is all over news. A bike that the makers call "cheap", costs Rs. 28 Lakhs(minus Tax). On summing up the 110% tax, the price crawls up to Rs. 60 lakhs.
Dhoni tweeted this news recently, oh, and here is how the beast looks.

Hehe, makes me ask the same question - Is that a Bike? Never mind, its a passion for him, and he earned it. My full respect for it. However, the media is blowing this up, well, when its a beast, it deserves some attention right? Ok, accepted. Anyone would feel good on reading a news like that(pure Entertainment). However, what caught my attention, and made me write this post is the comments that followed the posts at - rediff and Yahoo!. I'm quoting a few here

" Fourteen bikes for what? If you can't think of anything else to spend your hard earned money, think of people - going to bed hungry, naked, dying without medical help having no shelter over their head etc. Think of doing something for them ... do something to least of your brotherin and you will be doing for God who is so good and generous to you. "

" These spoilt brats from Bollywood & Indian cricket should go out in the streets and send EVERY Indian kid to school, instead of buying bikes...Bollywood now makes more money for Pakistan thru its singers and stars in India than deprived indians who pampers these parasites."

" atleast he paid all the taxes and brought the bike..unlike sachin who begged...also why is the shame..he is earning he is buying..why u jealous..you also become indian captain if you have the ability "

These are the very few comments found on these sites. For some reason, none of these comments make sense to me, or is it me only? He earned his post, money and fame. Its his job, of which he is doing a pretty good name. These comments almost mean to me like this - If you earn a few extra bucks, don't buy a car - give it to Charity! You don't deserve the money, it's the people's money!. How in world does this make sense?

And to comment on the allegation of Sachin "begging", here is a text from Wiki
On 4 September 2002 India's then finance minister Jaswant Singh wrote to Tendulkar telling him that the government will waive customs duty imposed on the car as a measure to applaud his feat"

Euro 2012 -- PC

Not many know that an add-on to FIFA 12 was released recently, which of-course showcases Euro 2012. At first, I thought it was an all new game put out by EA Sports, but on installing the game, I found the same old "12" icon, with FIFA renamed as Uefa Euro 2012. I doubted if I was cheated, and on opening the game, everything was same. Same intro, same menu, same everything! A bit disappointed, till I discovered something.

On scrolling on the options in Fifa 12 Menu, I found out a new entry. Yes, it was UEFA Euro 2012! On getting onto it, a totally new interface surprised me. This was unusual for the FIFA series, there was a whole new revamped menu, presentation, and the Euro 2012 atmosphere build up.

What's new?
The game is still FIFA 12, gameplay, physics, graphics, everything remains the same. Or does it? Not exactly! It has all new Stadiums, new Teams, new Commentary, new Gaming system, and totally new atmosphere! If you love FIFA 12, and you are a fan of Football, you'd certainly want to get a feel of this. Let me put down what's new in this again(just to make it clear)
  • -- Game Basis -- FIFA 12(No difference in Engine, or gameplay)
  • --  New Stadiums
  • --  New Teams
  • --  New Commentary
  • --  New Gameplay(Euro 2012, and of course the highlight Expedition)
  • --  New Menu
  • --  Totally new awesome Atmosphere
Wait, new Gameplay?
Well, not exactly new, but a new kind of approach towards game. There are a few options you can explore Euro 2012,
  • --  A Quick match
  • --  UEFA Euro 2012 Campaign
  • --  Expedition
The first one explains itself. The Euro Campaign is what you need if you thoroughly enjoying Euro 2012. Now what's Expedition? This is something new on the Offline campaign. You chose a player, name a Team, and create a startup to the Euro Qualifiers. You have to beat other teams, earn your respect, and build up your team. Now how do you build up a team? Here lies the fun, you get a player of opposition everytime you defeat them. Yes! I totally enjoy doing this, and exploring the various targets opened up in the campaign. If you are an expert player, you'll find this fun, the main reason being your first team would be very basic, slow and dumb(but so would be the opposition)!

Performance and Looks
I'd stick to the same review I put up for FIFA 12 on this occasion, read it here - FIFA 12 -- PC
