Facebook Mobile app works on any Phone - Free 90 days evaluation!!

Well, I'd like to rephrase the title into any phone with GPRS access. Nevertheless, its an interesting app. Using Facebook on mobile has always been a not so user friendly experience. Scrolling up and down, and landing on textboxes were never easy. This app looks promising, and to make sure it is affordable, Facebook is providing free data access with this app to certain providers, they are Carriers offering free data access for a limited time:

  • Aircel (India)
  • Airtel (India)

  • Beeline (Russia)
  • Celcom (Malaysia)
  • Etisalat (Egypt, Nigeria)
  • Globe (Philippines)
  • Idea (India)

They are also highlighting the feature of easy photo uploading. People all over the world can download the app by visiting m.facebook.com and scrolling down to the download link, or by entering d.facebook.com/install directly into their mobile browser.
