Section 8: Prejudice

Awesome wallpaper isn't it? Section 8: Prejudice is a new game which was launched by TimeGate Studios with high expectations, but I should say it's been a huge disappointment. I gave a shot to the game after seeing this Wallpaper somewhere over Facebook. The game had an interesting beginning, and I was happy to see it working smooth on my Laptop. But as the game advanced, it went boring and monotonous. I've tried only the Campaign mode, and I should say I'm going to uninstall the game before I complete the first chapter.

This is the first Game Review I'm writing before completing a game, and I'm disappointed to do it. I'm caught with Crysis 2 and Singularity right now! Surprised to see Crysis 2 working pretty decent. So I'm done with Section 8: Prejudice. Coming to the Gameplay, you have a basic set of weapons, and can carry only 2 of them, a Jetpack and a sprint dash. The combat gameplay is very poor, and shooting experience is boring. I'm not sure if this is because of my Low Graphic profile, but the game has very disappointing effects.
I can't write much about the story as I'm not sure about it, but according to IGN the story is also not upto the mark. IGN reviews are not always accurate, most of the time it turns out to be pretty dumb, but this might hint to the Game's poor performance. Not going to comment more on this game, ending it with a hope to enjoy future games!
Now getting on to how the game looks. The graphics is average, world details and characters not upto the mark(except during the Dropships). The character voices are terrible. Finally I would like to put a note on how it worked on my laptop the HP Pavilion dv6000 with specs
  • Intel Core 2 Duo T5750 @2.00 GHz
  • 3.00 GB Ram
  • Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard(64 bit) edition
  • NVIDIA Gefore 8400M GS - 1518 MB(256 Dedicated)
  • 150 GB Hard Disk
The only positive I had from the game is that it worked smooth on a resolution of 1024x768.
