Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2

I would like to first of all thank Gibu for introducing me to the world of Light sabers. Its true that I hated Star wars series all along, until Gibu pushed me to Download the game Star Wars The Force Unleashed for him. Taking a huge space of 25gigs after installation, I was curious to know what the big deal was. I loved the gameplay, loved the Light Sabers, loved the sound it made and loved Force Powers! But there was something missing - I never saw a Star Wars movie! So then again Gibu came to the rescue, he lend me the whole series. And I watched all of them in a single stretch. So back to Force Unleashed(First Part), was really awesome and addictive. I'm not going into much details of the first part. This is my review on its sequel - Star Wars The Force Unleashed 2.
First comment on this game, AWESOME! But after completing it, really Disappointed. The game introduced Dual Light Sabers, which was totally awesome to play on the Clones! Ripping them of into pieces, pushing them off the ledge, special dual saber moves, electrifying them, making them suicide... a never ending list of how you would enjoy the game! The story has been disappointing, revolving around Starkiller's Clone(Which the story does not prove!) and his love for Juno. All Starkiller does is go for the love, without caring for the whole Galaxy, and retorting on every plea made by General Kota. The Story is bearable, making it worse are the Boss fights. Its simply a repeating sequence of a set of moves. Makes it totally boring and pushes you too reduce the Difficulty level to complete it. The final encounter with Darth Vader is the most disappointing and irritating of all. Repeated game sequences, repeated actions, repeated dialogues and a lengthy battle. Spoils the fun of the game. And there are many instances where you have to sit idle just watching the developments in the story.
Now coming to the depth of the story, the sequel picks up from the Light ending of its prequel. Darth Vader convinces Starkiller that he is a clone, who was created faulty. The game kicks of with Starkiller escaping the wrath of Vader from the planet of Kameeno. The game is very short, with only a few chapters following it. All in all, the gameplay is awesome(Except boss fights), the graphics has been well done but the Voice recording is horrible(Especially in the last encounter). As every Star Wars game, this also has multiple ending, but I barely noticed this option given to me, and it differs only on the Ending video.
If you are really a Star Wars fan, give a try on it Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II Collector's Edition

Finally I would like to put a note on how it worked on my laptop the HP Pavilion dv6000 with specs
  • Intel Core 2 Duo T5750 @2.00 GHz
  • 3.00 GB Ram
  • Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard(64 bit) edition
  • NVIDIA Gefore 8400M GS - 1518 MB(256 Dedicated)
  • 150 GB Hard Disk
It worked pretty fine on low Graphic setting and a resolution of 800x600. It works with the same performance of Star Wars : The Force Unleashed Sith Edition. However the Frame rate can get crappy at times.
