Medal of Honor(Campaign)

Medal of Honor 2010, the latest of its Series, has kept up its reputation. EA tied up with DICE(famous for its previous biggie BFBC2) to put forth an interesting FPS war game. With Call of Duty series reigning this field of gameplay, Medal of Honor has put forward a challenge.
The story takes place on the aftermath of September 11, the early attacks in Afghanistan. Unlike other war games, MoH has put forward only a part of a campaign. It doesn stretch from months to years as in other campaigns, or in different parts of the world. Most of the gameplay takes place in hilly areas of Afghanistan. So what new has MoH put forward? The story sequence I should say. From one chapter to another, the story has been well linked up, giving a nice feel of continuity. Major part of the game you play as "Rabbit" who's end marks the end of the game. The developers have created an awesome atmosphere towards the end of the game. The Soundtrack is another huge impact, composed by Ramin Djawadi, does its job well. The graphics is awesome, gameplay has been done well too. You really get the feel of what " your 6...on your 12'o clock..." mean on a warfield. The gameplay involves varieties such as driving vehichles, ripping of the ground from an AH-64 Apache, using Predators and hell fires etc. Frustrating moments are provided by the supervisors trying to indulge in the activities.
As all the recent War games have, this particular version also has the disadvantage of having a really short storyline. It barely provides a gameplay of 6 hours. Eventhough it does not give the thrill and chill of CoD, its still a nice shot for gamerz waiting for Black Ops. Give a shot, its worth it.

Finally I would like to put a note on how it worked on my laptop the HP Pavilion dv6000 with specs
  • Intel Core 2 Duo T5750 @2.00 GHz
  • 3.00 GB Ram
  • Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard(64 bit) edition
  • NVIDIA Gefore 8400M GS - 1518 MB(256 Dedicated)
  • 150 GB Hard Disk
It worked  fine on low Graphic setting and a resolution of 800x600. In fact it worked as fine as Modern Warfare, so its definitely playable, and enjoyable!
