Google, Google, Google - that's all you see all over Internet nowadays. It seems that Google is revamping a whole lot of features to compete with the giants Facebook, the objective is clear - to make a Socialized Google. As always, the introduction of Google+ has been awesome! Awesome videos, awesome interactive demos, its buzzing everywhere!
Now Google has come up something for Gmail too, and they have given a sneak preview of how it will look in the future open to all! Eh? Couldn find it? Well, its hidden behind the scenes. Here is what you have to do
  • Click on the "Config" Icon found at the Top right[Next to your name]
  • Go to Mail settings
  • Go to Themes
  • You will find two new Previews!
Click it, and enjoy the futuristic look of new Gmail. According to Google’s official Gmail Blog, the idea was to “strip out unnecessary clutter and make Gmail as beautiful as it is powerful.” It’s all part of Google’s drive for a better experience that it calls “more focused, elastic and effortless” across each of its products.
Google’s calling these two preview themes “a sort of sneak peek” because it plans to make this design a permanent part of Gmail’s new interface, which “will eventually expand dynamically to accommodate different screen sizes and user preferences, but until then you can pick the information density that you prefer.”
And if you don't like the new look, you can always revert by selecting your favorite theme[For now, I don't think that will be possible if the new look opens out full swing]. So join the Revolution!
